Panel Composition

Every ACP panel supplied by TILT uses the same proven multi-layer construction — engineered for flatness, weather resistance and long-term colour stability.

PVDF Top CoatWeather-resistant fluoropolymer finish — the same chemistry used on architectural curtain wall systems worldwide.
Primer CoatAdhesion promoter bonded to the aluminium surface before topcoat application.
Passivation LayerCorrosion-inhibiting treatment applied directly to the aluminium coil surface.
Aluminium Skin — 0.5mmAA3003 / AA3105 alloy. Both faces are aluminium coil — front and back.
Adhesive FilmStructural bond between aluminium skin and core, applied under heat and pressure.
Core — PE or FR MineralStandard: polyethylene for interior and sheltered exterior. FR option: non-combustible mineral-filled core for multi-storey facades (SANS 10400-T).
Service Coat / Mill FinishProtective PE rear face coating. Standard across all grades.

Fire Safety

TILT supplies ACP in both standard PE core and non-combustible FR mineral-filled core configurations. Specify the correct core type for your project — multi-storey facade work in South Africa requires compliance with SANS 10400-T.

FR Mineral Core — Non-Combustible
Highest fire classification. Non-combustible mineral-filled core. Required for multi-storey facades under SANS 10400-T and specified by many commercial developers as standard.
