Architectural pergolas and adjustable louvre systems designed for the African climate — fixed and motorised options.
Efficient. Airy. Custom.
Our pergolas are designed for both indoor and outdoor use. Our screens do more than elevate aesthetics — they deliver practical performance by providing shade and significantly reducing heat through the strategic deflection of sunlight. Whether integrated into pergola structures, used as stylish sun-shading elements, or installed as perforated louvres over windows and building openings, our screens enhance comfort while adding architectural flair.
By minimising solar heat gain and allowing for controlled airflow, they contribute to energy efficiency and create more enjoyable, climate-responsive spaces.
Powder-coated aluminium frames
Hospitality, residential and commercial
Weather-rated for SA climate
Precision-engineered aluminium panels are securely installed between robust steel members using high-quality L-shaped aluminium brackets, ensuring a clean, streamlined finish with long-lasting durability. Mechanical fixings — typically M6 bolts and nuts — provide a solid connection that stands up to both time and the elements.
Aluminium panels are mounted to the underside of a high-performance sub-frame system. Each panel features precision-formed tabs, bent outward from the panel edges, which allow for discreet yet durable mechanical fixing directly to the sub-frame. A consistent 15mm gap is maintained between panels to facilitate secure installation, allow for thermal expansion, promote ventilation, and create a sleek shadow line.
Yes. TILT can supply motorised louvre blade systems for pergolas and sun-shading applications. These allow dynamic control of light and ventilation and are particularly popular in hospitality and high-end residential projects.
Our systems are designed and rated for the South African climate — including coastal environments, high UV exposure and wind loading. We specify the right material and fixing approach based on your site conditions.
