Front Fixed

Our balustrade systems use 2.5mm aluminium perforated panels with precision-formed 55mm return bends on all sides, enhancing structural rigidity while delivering a clean architectural finish. Designed for front-fix installation, these balustrades are mounted directly to the face of slabs or concrete structures, elegantly concealing the edge for a seamless, integrated appearance. The top of each screen is double bent to form a smooth, comfortable handrail edge.

Top Fixed

The top-fixed system is installed directly onto the top surface of slabs or concrete structures, allowing the slab edge to remain visible while maintaining architectural cohesion with the building's design language. Crafted from 2.5mm aluminium perforated panels with 55mm return bends on all sides. The top of the screen is double bent to create a smooth, rounded edge that functions as a handrail — offering both comfort and safety.

Common questions

Are your balustrades SANS compliant?

Pluse Icon

Yes. All TILT balustrade systems are engineered to comply with SANS 10160 structural loading requirements. We provide full shop drawings and specifications for structural sign-off by the project engineer.

What is the difference between front-fixed and top-fixed?

Pluse Icon

Front-fixed systems mount to the face of the slab, concealing the slab edge entirely. Top-fixed systems mount to the top surface of the slab, leaving the edge visible. The choice depends on the slab detail and the architectural language of the project.
